GSE Hosts Needed
Group Study Exchange (GSE) is a Rotary International program for adult professionals. Districts partner to exchange teams as a vocational study opportunity. This year’s team is from the Philippines. They will be visiting the club on April 21 and staying for a few days.
Rotarians are needed to host these team members for a night or two during their stay. There are four team members and a team leader. Five host families are needed. The team will be busy all day with vocational activities and sight seeing. You’ll be asked to give them a place to sleep, breakfast and drop them off in the morning. If you’re interested in hosting, contact the Rotary office at 222-8242, x101.
Donate Your Old Eye Glasses
For many, the new year means a new look. Don’t throw out those old eye glasses! Bring your old glasses to any Rotary meeting or drop them off at the Rotary office. Rotarian Dr. Tom Ayres will have the glasses refurbished and donated to a world-wide vision mission.
Rotary Profile
With over 500 members, it’s difficult to know everyone. To help more Rotarians connect in business and personally, the board has created a Random Rotary Profile.
There are 14 questions on the form. Fill out as many as you want and send it back to the Rotary office. We’ll select profiles randomly and publish them on the website (with your approval) and in the Wheel.
We’ll email the form with the next Wheel or you can pick it up in the Rotary office or download it from the website: Profile Form
