All new members are automatically members of this committee. The committee meets monthly which provides opportunities to meet other Rotarians, learn more about the club, learn about the opportunities to join other committees or volunteer for activities, and to report on their own progress in becoming an accepted and active member of the club. Tenured Rotarians are needed on the committee to help new members in this process. New members have the opportunity to earn a Bachelor’s degree that demonstrates their perfect attendance, their progress making new Rotarian acquaintances, and their participation in Rotary activities and events. Higher degrees of Master's and Doctorate’s follow if the new Rotarian has increased amounts of perfect attendance, expanded acquaintances, and increased numbers of participation in activities and events.
