San Antonio Rotary - Inner Wheel

Inner Wheel started in 1952 on a train going to Dallas to the Texas and Oklahoma football game. The wives decided to start their own club since the Rotarians had so much fun. The club started with 167 ladies and the first president was Dorothy Mae Walden.

The Inner Wheel Club of San Antonio is an organization for the wives, partners, widows, and other relatives of Rotarians. The object of the Inner Wheel is to promote true friendship and to encourage the ideals of personal service.

The members of the Inner Wheel meet the second Thursday of each month at
11:30 a.m. for fun & fellowship at different restaurants and private clubs around San Antonio.
