Still wondering???

Did you miss the Don Strange Ranch Party?  Are you still wondering what the Classy, Flashy and (sometimes) Trashy VIP Bash is?

It’s a private party and you can be a part of it!  Brian Strange is hosting a party for 25 couples at the Don Strange Ranch.  Rick Cavender will provide the entertainment.  What’s the twist?  The theme of the party is a 50’s sock hop.  You can get in costume and dance the night away or just come and enjoy the food and music with your fellow Rotarians.

Space is limited! There is only room for six more couples. To be a part of this special event, contact the Rotary office at 222-8242, x101 or email assistant@rotarysa.org.

When:  Thursday, April 1, 2010

Where:  Don Strange Ranch

Cost:  $250 per couple

Proceeds benefit the Sam J. Riklin Rotary Diploma Plus Program.

Committee Members Needed

Some of the club’s most important and rewarding committee work involves our Interact and Rotaract Clubs.  These clubs introduce Rotary ideals and service to high school and college students.  Rotarians are needed to help keep these clubs going.   The clubs are:

Burbank High School Interact

Providence HS Interact

St. Mary’s Hall Interact

Trinity University Rotaract

Help is needed to coordinate service projects, obtain speakers for club meetings and generally lend support in the club’s efforts to learn about Rotary.

Contact the Rotary office for more information or to sign up for one of the committees.

Group Study Exchange Team Members Needed

All travel expenses paid…….Rotary Foundations’ Group Study Exchange program offers the experience of a lifetime!! The Rotary Foundation program connects young business and professional men and women between the ages of 25 and 40 years old with their counterparts around the world.

Who do you know?????  Team members can not be Rotarians, but friends, associates, employees or members of your community are ALL candidates for this exciting and rewarding opportunity. Do you know someone who can benefit from this experience and provide a positive face to the host country?

Just do it!!!  This year District 5840 will be sending a team to the Philippines from 23 Feb, 2010 to March 31st. We need applications NOW. You must know someone who fits the bill. Applications, along with more information, are found at  www.rotary5840.org.

Help!!!!!  Think about the possibilities and tell everyone you know to go to the site and apply. They will thank you for helping them find this opportunity.
