Album Name: U.S. Army All-American Bowl Awards Dinner Return to Albums

Description: On behalf of The Rotary Club of San Antonio, we would like to personally thank everyone who contributed or volunteered to this year's U.S. Army All-American Bowl Awards Dinner. The fine young All-American athletes from all around the country, and the U.S. Army Heroes we honored at this awards dinner all share values in common with Rotarians: teamwork, leadership, dedication, and selfless service.

This year's player of the year recipient was Dillon Baxter.  The U.S. Army Player of the Year Award is High School football's highest honor. The emcee for this year's event was Chuck Miketinac. Country music artist Darryl Worley performed the National Anthem at this year's event. Darryl Worley and his band members Some of the awards presented during the event.
The Player of the Year is awarded the Ken Hall Trophy (Center).  The winning athelete has demonstrated a commitment to excellence on the field and in their daily lives.  This year's recipient was Dillon Baxter from San Diego, CA. Lt. Gen. Benjamin Freakley, Commanding General, U.S. Army Accessions Command. MR. John McHugh, Secretary of the United States Army was the Guest Speaker for this year's event. Keynote Speaker Brig. Gen. Peter M. Dawkins, USA (Ret.).  The U.S. Army All-American Bowl MVP Trophy is made in his likeness.
