Thank you to everyone who purchased a sponsorship, ticket or volunteered at Valero Texas Open for Rotary.   The Rotary Tee-Off Tent was a huge success!  The tent was located next to
the practice range and attendees were able to watch the pros – including #2 ranked Rory McIlroy.

Saturday was devoted to a service project for The First Tee, the local Chapter of an international youth development organization whose mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.  Over 150 First Tee participants were invited to spend the day at VTO including lunch at the Tee-Off Tent, a clinic with a pro and a chance to get autographs and watch the pros.

None of this would have gotten off the ground without the hard work and dedication of the
VTO/Tee-Off Tent Committee.  Countless hours went into the planning and execution of the volunteer effort (led by Rachel Rivers), The First Tee event (led by Mellick Sykes) and the overall coordination led by Jeff Bailey.  Thank you to our committee for making this a huge success:
