Schreiner University is quickly approaching its 100th anniversary. It reached this milestone by following a twisting path from its beginnings as a military institute to its development into a junior college and a baccalaureate degree-granting university. Schreiner’s most interesting history has led it to defy the odds and become one of the great, small colleges of Texas. Today, Schreiner faces its future confidently with eagerness to meet the challenges which lie ahead.
