Service 28th Kingdom for Kids Playground

The YWCA and Joeris Construction is currently building the new Women’s Live and Learn Center which will be a four-year housing campus where women, ages 18 to 26, can live for up to four years, go through workforce training programs or even attend college for up to four years. The Women’s Live and Learn Center provides supportive, four-year housing to vulnerable women between 18 and 26 years old, as well as workforce development, it's a learning center, and it's a place for them to raise their children.” Click here for more information about the Women's Live and Learn Center.

Friday, November 14, 8 AM until 3 PM - Volunteers are needed to help with playground assembly, landscaping in the memorial garden and to assemble picnic benches and other benches for the reading theater. We will revitalize the landscaping in the memorial garden and labyrinth.

Saturday, November 15, 8 AM until 1 PM - Volunteers will continue to work on the play structures and construct a reading theater stage and backdrop. Help paint murals designed by our own Paul Garro!
