Service Build a Bike for Literacy

The Rotary Club of San Antonio is teaming up with CYCLE to build 55 bikes for second graders at Cable Elementary, a reward for their reading achievement! In conjunction with the City of San Antonio, Councilman Ric Galvan (District 6), and Northside ISD, we'll turn reading milestones into a day these students will never forget.

We need 20 volunteers to assemble bikes. No experience is needed and all tools are provided. After the build, volunteers are welcome to help hand the finished bikes directly to the kids, which is hands-down the best part!

Where: Cable Elementary School
When: Thursday, June 18th
Build: 12:30–3:00 PM
Distribute: 3:00–4:00 PM
